The Detox Silk Masque is a remarkable face and body masque to purify and detox skin and pores. It has antioxidant benefits and moisturises skin and provides refreshing, cleansing and rejuvenating treatment.

 

First apply the Annique moisturizer to cleansed skin and then the mask over it. After 10-15 minutes, spray the skin with your Freshener to soften the mask or soften the skin with a warm compress. Rinse the skin with lukewarm water or Rooibos tea. Then apply daily skin care products. Use the Detox Silk Masque once a week for sensitive skin and twice a week for tired, neglected and/or problem skin.  Can also be used by normal/combination skin.

There are three phases of a clay/silt/mud masque.
There’s the ‘damp phase’ where your skin drinks in the beneficial ingredients from the product. Then you have the ‘start of the dry phase’, which exercises your capillaries and stimulates blood flow as the masque contracts. But then there’s the ‘dry phase’, which draws out moisture from the surface of your skin, that can cause dehydration.  Do not wait until the masque is completely dry before removing - do the touch test: When you start to see it drying (which usually means it gets lighter in color), but it still feels a bit sticky, it’s time to rinse off.
